April A Rash of Wilmington, DE passed away on November 24, 2020.
She enjoyed rock & roll, going to concerts and family dinners. She cherished spending time with her four grandchildren, they gave her purpose. She fought a ten year battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and refused to let it define her.
April was survived by her loving husband Andy Rash, daughters Amanda Fitts, Samantha Rash and Andrea Rash, son Shane Rash, son in law, Joshua Fitts, daughter in law Madison VanSant , father Howard Tranthum, father-in-law Robert Rash and her four wonderful grandchildren, Maeve, Jackson, Seamus, Abigail and adopted son Anthony Deangelis. April was loved and will be sadly missed by her friends and family.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19808. April’s wishes were to have a celebration gathering after her viewing. She wanted her friends and family to gather and celebrate her life, what she accomplished and who she was.
