Josephine (Joy) Mary Casapulla, age 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away on February 28, 2022.
Josephine was born in Wilmington, DE on July 20, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Riddel) Dobrowalski. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to caring and loving her beloved family.
Josephine passionately loved and cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a beautiful caring mother and a devoted wife. She enjoyed cooking, crabbing, coloring and playing jax (in which she mastered). She always enjoyed pleasing her taste palate with a table full of steamed crabs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister Lillian Riccio. Josephine is survived by her husband Alfred A. Casapulla, Sr; children, Lillian Smith (Ron) of Landenburg, PA., Arthur Casapulla of Wilmington, Sharon Casapulla of Wilmington, Vincent Casapulla, Sr. (Karen) of Wilmington, Lisa Casapulla of Wilmington and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
