Margaret grew up in Colonial Heights among neighbors who became family. She was an animal lover, especially of cats, there were always pets around the home. She took an interest in the stock market at an early age and always kept up with local politics. Her memory was legendary, her family depended on her for tales of past events. She loved long rides with her brother and trips into town with her mother. In later years she needed assistance due to mental health issues. Margaret managed to do well with the help of group homes.
After being diagnosed with multiple myeloma in early 2019 she became a resident of Foulk Manor North SNF. She enjoyed interaction with staff, happy hours, music entertainment and walks outside.
