Doris H. Quinn, age 91, of Media, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 16, 2022. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Laura (Brown) and Robert E. Lee.
Doris worked as a waitress in the hospitality industry, and then Doris worked in sales at Macy’s in Springfield for over 20 years. She then retired in 1994.
Doris enjoyed her numerous trips to the Jersey Shore with the extended family. She also enjoyed her independence and visits with her many friends.
Her husband of 54 years, Thomas L. died in 2009. Doris is survived by her son Thomas L. (Deborah); 2 grandchildren Meaghan and Ryan and a sister Elsie Umberger (Edward). She is also preceded in death by her 5 siblings, Margaret Reynolds, Robert Lee, Virginia Kinsey, Joan Beck and Beverly Fletcher.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 23, from 10-11am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3924 Concord Pk, Wilmington, DE, where a funeral service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at Montrose Cemetery, Upper Darby, PA.
