Barbara H. Brackin, 86, passed away February 14, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, James M. Brackin. She is survived by her three children, Karen Hughes (Bill), Dale Brackin (Sharon), Susan Kirk (Jeff); 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was raised in Cedars, DE and was an active member of Cedars United Methodist Church before moving to Selbyville, DE. After high school she worked for the DuPont Company, then with her husband at Brackin’s Tractors in Hockessin, and as a cafeteria worker for Red Clay School District.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18 at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3710 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington, DE 19808). The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Ebenezer Cemetery will immediately follow services. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to Cedars United Methodist Church
