Dawn Irene Stansberry (Albert), age 67, of Wilmington, DE, born September 28, 1954, passed peacefully on January 18th, 2022, due to advanced Huntingtin’s Disease.
She was born to Matteo Albert and Jacqueline (Dilley) Albert in Wilmington, Delaware. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Steve Stansberry, and her two sisters, Candie (Leusetta) Fields and Sharlene Albert. She is survived by her brother, Micheal Albert, her first husband Micheal Ray, her two children Josie Albert and Eric Ray, and her granddaughter, Kelci Dunn. She was also loved by her step-siblings, Ruthanne Walsh, Diane Walsh and William Walsh, Sr.
At her wishes, McCrery & Harra will provide her cremation. A private memorial will be held by the family at a future date when this dreaded pandemic is a lesser threat. At this time, we will gather in her honor, where we expect her in spirit, as being the center of attention was a near constant goal of hers.
She will be remembered for her fun-loving nature, she was a force that kept us on our toes, wondering what shenanigan she would be planning next.
