Vinnie, age 62 of Claymont, DE, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022. He was born in Wilmington, DE and was the son of the late John and Mary O’Donnell. Vinnie graduated from Mt. Pleasant HS in 1979.
He was a car salesman at various dealers throughout Wilmington, most recently at Diver Chevrolet. Vinnie was a life-time member of the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company. He found a tremendous amount of joy attending car shows and working on muscle cars. Vinnie was a down-to-earth and genuine kind of guy. He was also a family man, especially enjoying time with his grandchildren.
Vinnie is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lois; 2 children, Vincent M., Jr. (Erica) and Heather Bauerle (Tom); 3 grandchildren, Owen, Collin and Nora; 2 siblings, John and James (Janet) and a large extended family. He is also preceded in death by his brother Joseph.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 11 from 6-8pm at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3924 Concord Pk, Wilmington. A funeral service will be held Saturday February 12 at the funeral home at 10am. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
