Violet Barth Scheuring, age 94, died February 1, 2022. She was born Violet Irene Barth on November 22, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Three Bridges NJ.
Violet later married Kurt R. Scheuring and continued to reside in the Hunterdon County Area rea until moving to Smith Mountain Lake Virginia in the 1970s. She moved to Delaware to be near family in 2015, and recently lived at Sunrise Senior Living in Wilmington.
Violet was predeceased by her parents Sarah Upton and Otto M. Barth, husband Kurt, sister Hermine Kuhl, and nephew Frederick Kuhl. She is survived by great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as cousins. Violet was a lifelong gardener, with lilies being her favorite. She was always fun and quick witted and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
