Hash, Glenn A.

On the seventh of January Glenn Alan Hash passed out of this life into the next. He was the beloved brother of Ken Hash of Kirkwood, PA; Arlene Hanson of Brattleboro, VT; Charlotte Hash of Boothwyn, PA; and Terry Wortz of Elkton, MD.

Glenn was born in West Chester, PA on February 11, 1962 to Luther and Margaret (Gibson) Hash. He was a graduate of the Wilmington Christian School and followed his father into the home improvement and construction trades. Eventually he achieved Master Carpenter status with Local 255 of New Castle Delaware Carpenters Union.

Glenn enjoyed being with his friends and family. He was a wonderful brother and uncle. He loved his dog, Deacon, and took him with him anywhere he could. He belonged to a van club. He was an extremely skilled carpenter and would always help friends or family if they needed to have something repaired or built. He spent his summer weekends at the beach, jet skiing or boating and hanging with his friends. He also enjoyed going out on his Harley. Glenn enjoyed cooking and always brought a dish to events to which he was invited…along with a cooler of Jello shooters. Glenn loved singing and would get up and belt out a tune if the band would ask him up.

Glenn was a good soul who brightened every room he entered. He will be missed by many.
