Thomas A. Fretz passed away on January 4, 2022 at Seasons Hospice, Wilmington Hospital.
He was born in Philadelphia. PA to the late James and Molly Fretz and grew up in Clayton, DE. Tom was an Army veteran and retired from Johnson Control.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Fretz, his brothers, Karl and Raymond Fretz. Tom is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janet Fretz, his children, Jim Dugan (Dana), Patrick Dugan, Kate Shortlidge, his grandchildren, Brandi Martinez (Johny), Max Dugan, Olivia Chinski and his great-grandchildren Abby and Matthew Rife.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, mask are required regardless of your vaccination status. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202 South of Silverside Road) Wilmington, DE 19803 where a service will follow at 11:00.
