Charlene Mae Javorsky, 64, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2021 with her daughter by her side and her son in her heart, Charlene was born in Wilmington, Delaware. She was one of four children born to James and Mary Howard.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen J. Herbster; her husband, Joseph Javorsky; her brother, James Howard and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Heather A. Rolfe (Jason); her brothers, Ronnie Howard, Tommy Howard (Teri); her sisters in law and lifelong friends, Deborah Howard and Dianna Javorsky-Horn; her granddaughters, Destiny Evers, Natalie Atkinson, Maci Rolfe and Hadleigh Rolfe; her grandsons, Tyler Herbster and Carter Deptula. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her furry best friend, Abby.
Charlene grew up in Elsmere, DE with her three brothers, with whom she shared a deep bond. Charlene will be remembered for her wild spirit, mischievous sense of humor, her gift for gab, her tall tales and her butt dials. She would do anything for a laugh. Some of the best times in her life were spent on the back of her husband’s Harley or fishing with a beer in her hand. Her biggest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was immensely proud of them and loved to brag about their accomplishments. Charlene’s heart was broken when she lost her son in 2009. We take comfort in knowing that they are together again and are back to being partners in crime.
