Patricia G. “Patti” Bowman, age 58, of Wilmington, DE, passed away surrounded by her family on December 8, 2021.
She was born in Folcroft, PA and is the daughter of Patricia and the late John P. Gibbons. Patti graduated from Concord HS in 1980. She spent over 20 years as a hair stylist at Currie Hair Skin & Nails, before operating her own salon out of her home.
She loved to cook, shop, travel, and spend time at the shore. Patti, having the gift of gab, was always able to make friends wherever she went.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert B., Jr.; two daughters, Jocelyn A. Keller (Benjamin) and Mackenzie B. Bowman; and her four-legged grandchildren, Dakota and Aria; two siblings, John S. Gibbons (Jennifer) and Kathleen A. Gentile (Mark) and a large extended family.
A visitation will be held on Mon., Dec. 13 from 6-8 pm at the McCrery and Harra Funeral Homes, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington. A memorial service will be held on Tues., Dec. 14 at 11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church, 4701 Weldin Rd., Wilmington. Burial will be held privately. The family requests that masks be worn for the visitation and memorial service.
