Sondra L. Callahan passed away on November 26, 2021 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Care.
She was born in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Theodore and Annabelle Elder. Sondra was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert L. Callahan and her grandson Ryan Callahan. Sondra is survived by her brothers, Theodore R. Elder, Jr. and William Elder, her children Michael Callahan (Connie), Jeffrey Callahan (Diane Hayden), James Callahan (Keli), her grandchildren, Justin, Corey and Chris, her great-grandchildren, Tessa and Carter.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Christiana Care Hospice Unit and Seasons Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
A committal service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
