Elizabeth Jean Thornett, 92, of North Star, passed away on November 11, 2021. Jean retired from Delmarva Power after many years of service and belonged to Order of the Eastern Star.
She was predeceased in death by her husband of 71 years, Fred R. Thornett, her parents Ernest and Helen Ford and her brother Wayne Ford.
Friends are welcome from 10:30 -11am with a service at 11am on Friday November 19, at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington 19808. Burial will follow in Red Clay Creek Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 16 Polly Drummond Shopping Center, 2nd Flr. Newark, DE 19711.
