Theodore H. McCarthy, age 68, suddenly passed away from a long battle with cancer, he has gone home to be with the Lord. Ted was born on September 2, 1953 in Smyrna, DE to parents, Michael McCarthy and Patricia Hemingway. Ted was a loving husband and wonderful father. He was a Union truck driver (Teamster) for Oriole Chemical Carriers for 30 years, he was also an Army Veteran. Ted was a member of Christian Motorcycle Association and Freedom Biker Church, which he dearly loved.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne E. McCarthy; sons, Teddy Jr., Chuck (Aliceyn), and Michael; grandchildren, Corey, Skylar, Nickolas, and Summer; great-grandchildren, Brielle and Luka; and siblings, Michael (Marcie), Ralph (Nancy), Loring, and Patricia.
Services will be held at Freedom Biker Church (79 Christiana Rd, New Castle, DE 19720) on October 9th at 2 p.m.
