Jean Ruth Sellers, age 96, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2021.
Jean was one of six brothers and sisters, born in Wilmington, DE, to the late Ralph and Harriett Ruth. She was an active member of Marshallton United Methodist Church for over 70 years. She enjoyed traveling, camping, playing cards, bingo, bible study, watching sports, and spending time with her many friends and family.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse H. Sellers. She is survived by her sisters, Kathleen (Kappy) Stevens of Wilmington, DE and Carol (Sissie) Trivits of Lewisville, TX; two sons, David W. (Monica) and Lee (Cathy); 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service on Wednesday, August 18, 11:30am at Marshallton United Methodist Church, 1105 Stanton Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. Interment will be private.
