Margery Ann Davis Kehnast, age 96, died peacefully at home on July 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Kehnast, in 1987. She is survived by her daughters, Nanci Kehnast and Linda Jobson. Memom is also survived by her grand- and great-grandchildren: Trebor Jobson (Amanda), Kyle Schaal, Jennica (Alan), TJ, Sabree, Teagan, Corey Jobson Fischer (Dave), Ainsley, Peyton and Camryn, as well as many other cherished family and friends.
Margery lived a life of love – love of all people, love of nature, love of God. And so many loved her. She embraced everyone with kindness and respect, welcoming friends and strangers to her home for various festivities. She always maintained a sense of humor, a sense of wonder, and a sense of joy.
A Celebration of Margery’s Life will be held on Monday, August 16 at Trinity Presbyterian Church (1120 Darley Road, Wilmington, DE 19810) at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Lower Brandywine Church Cemetery will be later that day. Masks are encouraged for all who attend. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Margery’s memory to Trinity Presbyterian Church.
