Newark- Burton F. Pyle, II, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home on July 10, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1946 in Wilmington, DE and was the son of the late Sara (Bristow) and Burton F. Pyle.
Burton graduated from Christiana HS and the University of Delaware, where he was a member of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army from 1968 to 1970. Burton was a claims adjuster and founder of his own business as an independent adjuster. He is survived by his sister Carolee Hepner.
A viewing will be begin at 10 am, on Friday, July 16 at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, where a funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial with military honors will be held on Thursday, July 22, 10 am, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
