Roger Jacob Russell, age 60, passed away on July 4, 2021 at Seasons Hospice. Roger was born in Queens, NY, lived in Germany as a young child, and then Delaware. He graduated Archmere Academy and served in the US Air Force as Germanic Crypto Linguist. He was a self-employed carpenter. Roger enjoyed cooking, music, home restoration, traveling, and helping others. Roger is survived by his wife, Lynne Marchese, his parents Carl and Helga Russell, his brother, Ronald Russell, his dog Penny and 5 cats. His beloved pet Daisy passed last year. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where friends may call from 10:30-11:00.
