Holly L. Gillette, age 43, of Bear, DE, passed away suddenly at Christiana Hospital on May 14, 2021. She was born in Wilmington, DE and is the daughter of Mary (Tafelski) and the late Kenneth W. Eichholz. Holly was home-schooled. Holly moved to the Slovak Republic with Jozef M. Bucko, married and had a son Jozef K Bucko. There, she traveled frequently in Europe. She later returned to the USA. Jozef M. Bucko passed away in 2015.
Holly worked for Shoprite and then Acme Markets as Dairy Manager, Frozen Manager, Receiver and where, with hard work, she was promoted to Grocery Manager. She also worked at Delaware Park, Belly Busters and for Nabisco. Holly was at all times ready with a smile and eager to help everyone. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, niece and aunt. She enjoyed the beach and ocean, traveling, especially Disney World, walking , shoes and she loved her coffee. Holly’s quote will be eternal, “Sharing is Caring”.
Along with her mother Mary, she is survived by her 2 children, Jozef Bucko and Elizabeth Gillette; sisters, Heather Samek and Jennifer Eichholz; nieces and nephews, Jacqueline, Nicolette, Rebecca, Harry, Kenneth, Victor and Nicholas; uncles, Edward Tafelski and John Tafelski and his wife Margaret and cousins, Kristen, Joseph, Kayla, Alix and Jack.
Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
