Middletown-Nancy J. Hassiepen, age 62, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2021 after a courageous battle with brain cancer starting in 2018.
She was born in Wilmington, DE and was the daughter of the late John and Daphne White. Nancy graduated from Conrad HS in 1977. She was an administrative assistant at DuPont where she retired after 35 years in 2020.
Nancy enjoyed dirt biking, traveling, mostly to the beach, photography and especially boating.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Henry; 2 sons, Alex and Henry; a brother, John (Kathy) and nieces and nephews. Nancy is also preceded in death by her son Kyle.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, from 10-11 am, at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, where a memorial service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be held privately. Services will be held in accordance with the current health directives, wearing masks, social distancing and capacity requirements.
