A light went out on April 26, 2021 when our Dad, Paul E. “Skip” Norris, Jr., age 80, passed away due to complications from covid-19 at the Christiana Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Paul and Eloise Norris.Paul retired as a fabricator for Agilent Technologies. He loved bowling, dancing, listening to the blues and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his father’s day barbecues. Paul lived life to the fullest and was loved by every life he touched.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Judy Norris and his son, Wayne Norris. Paul is survived by his daughters and sons-in-laws, who were like his own sons, Kathy Sturgis( Bobby) and Kim Bromwell(John), his grandchildren, Jill and Jessica Sturgis, Brian Foraker, Jr., Bobby Sturgis, Jr. (Bri), step-grandsons, Jason (Meredith), John, Jr. and Dillan Bromwell, his great-grandchildren, Savanna, MaKenzie, Jaxon, Phoenyx and Sophia, his siblings, Patti Norris, Denise Luff (Kenny) and his other sister, Lois Everett and many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a service will follow on Friday, April 30th at 11:00 a.m. Due to covid-19 restrictions, mask and social distancing will be followed.
