Scott C. Matthews, age 52, of Wilmington passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 24, 2021. Scott was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Wilmington. He was a graduate of Brandywine High School. Scott enjoyed playing the guitar, crabbing, boating, cooking, and entertaining his friends and family. Scott was in property management and was very accomplished in all the building trades. He was a fun-loving, joking, generous-to-a-fault person who would literally give you the shirt from his back.
Scott is survived by his wife, Patricia Matthews; his loving parents Eleanor and Jon Matthews; his sisters and brothers-in-law Sheila (Victor) Pajan and Stacie (Brian) Mutschler; his nieces and nephews Tori, Michael, Luke, and Madison.
