Vivian L. Reburn, age 75, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on February 12, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Vivian was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Isabella and Raymond Smith. Vivian was a graduate of PS du Pont High School and worked at Christiana Hospital as a receptionist until retirement. Vivian loved caring for her cats, Patch and Toby, as well as cooking and hosting get-togethers for her family for every birthday and holiday.
Vivian is survived by her two children, Deana Moore (Chris), Michael Reburn (Kirsten); her two stepchildren, Paul A. Reburn, Jr. (Kimberly), Charles Reburn (Lee Ann), her siblings, Carl Smith (Lauren), Jan Atwell (Wilford); 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Vivian was also predeceased by her husband, Paul Reburn.
The family would like to express their utmost thanks to the Seasons Hospice care for the compassionate, loving care that they provided to Vivian and going out of their way to make sure she was comfortable.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Monday, February 22 from 1:45-2:30 pm at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial of cremains will take place immediately following the visitation in All Saints Cemetery.
