Stephen G. Sharp, Jr, age 66, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, February 4th.
He graduated from Salesianum High School, class of 73’ and attended University of Delaware. Stephen worked at Ultrachem Inc as a production assistant for about 3 years. He was passionate about music and back in the “good old days,” he was a drummer in a band for many years. He enjoyed cruising around in his Jag while listening to Howard Stein. Stephen had exquisite superb taste and always knew how to dress to impress especially through his many elegant accessories.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen G. Sharp, Sr. and sister, Carol A. Jewett. Stephen is survived by his mother, Margaret C. Sharp; nieces, Sara E. Jewett and Kelly A. Jewett, and brother-in-law, Bruce L. Jewett.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202 South of Silverside Road), Wilmington, DE 19803. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church 901 Dupont St. Wilmington, DE 19805. Entombment will be at Cathedral Cemetery.
