Judith Gale “Judy” Haight, age 86, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2021. She was born and raised in Wilmington and was the daughter of the late Julian and Mary Boys.
Judy graduated from P.S. Dupont HS in 1953 and in 1955 she graduated from the now known as Goldey-Beacom College In her early years, she was a medical secretary at A.I Dupont Hospital. She then started her real career, raising 3 boys. Judy attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
She was always involved with her son’s sporting activities. Judy enjoyed socializing and spending time at the beach with her family and friends but mostly she cherished her time with her “Grandbabies”.
Judy’s husband of 39 years, Donald. J., died in 1996. She is survived by her 3 sons, James (Kathleen), Mike (Leslie) and Bob; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Timothy, Danny, Rachel and Matthew and 2 great grandchildren, Quinn and Vinny.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, at 11 am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Homes, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
