Cherie Ann Galliani of Wilmington, DE and Centralia, WA, passed away on Sunday, Dec 19th at the age of 57, after a long courageous battle with cancer
Cherie had a big heart and would help anyone who needed it. She literally has shared her last bit of food with those who were hungrier than she. She was an artist and was able to see the beauty in things that most people would throw away. Cherie had a love for dolls and a love for children. She would mend broken dolls and give them to children who didn’t have any and helped many homeless women get off the streets and get clean. She would help them with food, clothes, getting job interviews, and would help connect them back to their families again. Cherie felt everyone should have a second chance.
Cherie was predeceased by her father Cono Galliani and husband Brian Brooks
Cherie is survived by her mother and stepfather, Theresa Conde and Robert Land; her 5 children, Jacquelyn, Joshua, Christopher, Amanda, and Malachai; her 3 grandchildren, Vivian, Conner, and Colt; her sister Donna, and brothers Tony, Greg, and Donny.
The family will be having a celebration of life service in the spring.
