Susan Ella “Su” Adams passed away peacefully on December 18, 2021 at Parkview Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Jean M. and Lucie E. Adams. Susan graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and worked for AVI Risk Services. She was an avid reader, an animal advocate and a supporter of Al-Anon.
Su is survived by her siblings, Louis J. Adams (Sarah), Doris L. Hylton, Hilda G. Patterson, Henry M. Adams, Jeannette A. Adams, her nieces and nephews, which she dearly loved, as well as her many cousins and her uncle, Pierre Adami.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
