Judith C. Evans passed away on December 13, 2021 at Seasons Hospice, Wilmington Hospital.
She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late William and Bernice Ahern. Judy was a 1961 graduate of Conrad High School. She enjoyed the beach and going to Delaware Park with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Evans and her grandson, Shawn Phillips. Judith is survived by her children, Michele R. Evans, Michael J. Evans (Kelly), Melinda L. Phillips (Tom Phillips), her sister Bonnie Shaw, her brother, William “Sonny” Ahern, brother-in-law, Earl A. Evans (Liz), her grandchildren, Mandi, Sam, Katie, Josh, Aron and Renee and her great-grandchildren, Mairyn, Ezra and Beans.
The family would like to thank “Your Own Home, LLC “, especially Deb, Yas and Terri, for the excellent care that they provided to Judy.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 where a service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
