Patricia was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, attended Mount Mercy Academy, D’Youville College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from SUNY Brockport (‘65) with five children in tow.

Patricia was the definition of the word multitasker.

While raising seven children she taught 5th grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary School and was a substitute teacher at Saint Edmond’s Academy. She was active with her friends of both Bridge and Gourmet groups for over 40 years in Delaware. Patricia started and ran a successful Florist business for 30 years, Tricia’s Trimmings, and will be fondly remembered for being a part of many “Joy days” for others. She was an active member of Holy Child Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary and treasured her time with the Ursuline Nuns and Norbertine Priests of Archmere.

She was the consummate hostess and lived her life always ready with a warm meal for others. Patricia (Goo Goo, Joker Grandma, G’Ma, Grandma, Gigi) will be fondly remembered by her children and grandchildren for keeping Christmas on December 26th each year with homemade soups and games so that the whole extended family would always remain connected together.

Patricia was a happy and joyful mother. She lived her life through her faith, always trusting and relying on the Lord. He was her strength. She taught all of her children to always rely on God and to be thankful for the gifts He gave to them. This enabled her to be a loving mother to all - those she birthed and those she cared for like her own.
