Pearl L. Rice, age 81, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 15, 2021.
She was born in Altoona, PA and raised in Williamsburg, PA and was the daughter of the late Viola (Rodkey) and Harold Showalter.
Pearl worked mainly in food service, businesses and schools. She enjoyed her Sundays out for breakfast. Pearl will be remembered as a good friend and being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Her husband of 59 years, Ellis Rice died in 2019. Pearl is survived by her 3 daughters, Marcia Strag and her husband Kevin, Sr.; Connie Rice and Brenda Barski and her husband George; 3 grandchildren, Samantha Barski, Brandon Rice and Kevin Strag, Jr. and a brother Butch Showalter and his wife Ruth. She is also preceded death by her 6 siblings.
Service and burial will be held privately.
