Barbara Goodman Howard, age 71, of Wilmington, DE died November 10, 2021 due to complications of Lewy Body Dementia.
Barbara graduated from Mount Pleasant High School (class of ’68) and Goldey-Beacom College (class of ’70), and began her career as a secretary for B. Gary Scott. She worked at various real estate offices across the state during the course of her career, retiring in 2015. In her spare time Barbara enjoyed vacationing at the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her sons Kevin and his children Linley, Kevin and Alex; and Brian (Stacy) and his children Evan, Miles, and Violet; brother Rand; and sister Bonnie (Mike).
Friends are invited to pay their respects at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803 on Friday, November 19 beginning at 10 am followed by a memorial service at 11 am. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Barbara’s name to a charity of your choice.
