Lorraine H. Farris, age 83, of Newark, DE., passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2021. Lorraine was a wonderful mother and always put others needs before her own. Lorraine loved family. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband James L. Farris in 2013.
She is survived by daughter Donna Burke, husband Joseph of Newark, daughter Diane Farris-Owens, husband Robert of Newark, and son David Farris, wife Michelle of New Castle; granddaughter Allison Houghton of Dover and grandsons Scott and Tommy Farris of New Castle.
A viewing will be held on Friday October 29 from 10-11am followed by a service at 11am atMcCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington 19808.At the family’s request, masks must be worn by all that attend. Burial will be private.
