Michael Augustus Cushing, Sr. Michael Augustus Cushing Sr., age 74, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Albert Sr., and his brother, Albert Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kathleen, children, Suzanne Bounds (Andrew) and Michael Jr. (Lauren), granddaughters, Charlotte Bounds and Mary Elizabeth Cushing, sister-in-law, Justina Cushing, niece, Helen Anne Morris and nephew, Francis Cushing.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00am-11:15am on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Rd., Wilmington, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Michael’s memory to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition in honor of his support of his wife’s longtime charity work with the organization.
