James R. “Jim” Jester Jr, age 58, of Middletown, DE and formerly of Milford, DE passed away on February 23, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on November 6, 1962 in Milford to James and Joyce Jester, Jim spent most of his adult life in Middletown where he established a home full of love and laughter with his wife, Veronica and sons Noah, Samuel, and Nathan. Jim and Veronica spent much of their time together with the boys either at a dirt bike track, basketball court, football or soccer field. Being with his family was always a priority!!! He also enjoyed times at the beach reading, fishing or in the flower garden as well as cheering on the Minnesota Vikings (yes, every year).
In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years Veronica. Jim also leaves behind his children Noah (Mikala), Samuel (Sharon), Nathan (Emily) all of Middletown.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 5 from 6-8 pm at True Life Church, 130 Executive Dr #8, Newark DE 19702. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, March 6 at 11 am at the church with interment to follow in Forest Cemetery. Covid-19 precautionary measures will be in use during all services and the service will be live streamed for those wishing to view remotely. Click this link for live steam.
