Patricia Y. Webber died peacefully February 5, 2021. She was born in Philadelphia, but spent most of her life in the Wilmington area where she worked as a research analyst for Dupont, proudly earning a patent for some of her work. She was an excellent cook, renowned for her Harvey Wallbanger Cake and many other original recipes. She was an avid gardener and entered her magnificent African Violets in several competitions.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Elizabeth Yergey; and her husband, William Webber. She is survived by her son, Christopher Webber (Stacie); and her grandchildren, Cassidy Webber (Ari Applebaum), Liam Webber, Brianna Blomquist, Anna Webber, Amanda Blomquist, and Samuel Webber; and her great-grandchildren, Teagan, MacIntyre, and Malaysia.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:00 on Wednesday, February 17th at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home (3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803). Due to COVID restrictions the memorial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Delaware SPCA.
