Nathan Wayne Wyatt, 30 of Wilmington, DE passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
Nathan was born in Wilmington, DE to the loving parents of Rhonda and Derrick Lister. He was a 2008 graduate of Alexis I duPont High School. Nathan held various positions within the food industry in Wilmington.
A few of Nathan’s favorite pastimes include gaming, traveling with friends, binge watching Netflix, and cooking.
You could often find Nate enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday either watching or playing football with friends. His mesmerizing smile and charismatic personality always captivated the room, making him the life of the party. Even in adulthood he was a big kid at heart, he enjoyed being the “big kid” in a room full of smaller kids. Undeniable was the bond Nate shared with is parents and sister. From the affectionate love you often displayed for his mother to the inquisitive nature he shared like his father. Nate was notoriously known the humorous banter he shared with his younger sister, Alisha. She would often be the subject of his playful torment.
He is survived by parents Rhonda and Derrick Lister; sister, Alisha Wyatt; sister-in-law, Talia Dickerson, 7 aunts, 6 uncles, and a host of cousins and friends.
Nathan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Vivian and Wayland Lister and maternal grandmother Janet Delancey.
To adhere to current guidelines services and burial will be held privately. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, February 6, from 11am-12pm at McCrery and Harra Funeral Homes located at 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE, 19808. Due to current guidelines set forth the viewing will be held in accordance with the current health directives. All attendees will be required to wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and capacity requirements (40 at a time).
