Wandalou Blaine, 92 years old, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 6, 2021. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on May 9, 1928, to Herbert and Delpha Teska. She had three younger brothers, Donn, Jack and Roger. After attending Marion College, now known as Indiana Wesleyan University, she married James Allen Blaine of Oak Lawn, Illinois in 1950. Together they embarked on a lifetime of pastoring churches in seven U.S. states and Canada. They had a son; Warren Roger Blaine (deceased): daughter, Faith Blaine Willhoft and son, Bruce Evan Blaine. She has three grandchildren, Blaine Willhoft, Adrienne Willhoft and Kate Blaine and two great-grandchildren, Galen and Colin Willhoft.
Wandalou embraced life with an indomitable spirit – making a home wherever she lived, involving herself fully in countless ministries as a pastor’s wife, and caring for her disabled son for almost 60 years. Her lifelong skill as a seamstress touched many lives through teaching quilting classes and her many, many handmade gifts.
Due to current COVID 19 restrictions a private Funeral Service and interment will be held for the family.
