Patti was always there for her boys supporting them in their activities and embracing them through tough times. They always knew mom would be there for them through the happiest of times and the saddest of times. Mom was always a phone call (or text) away.
Patti spent most of her life as a homemaker to her family. Patti enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren doing many different things. She enjoyed spoiling the grandkids any chance she could! Spending time at Lewes Beach watching the ocean waves and taking in the beach air while eating ice cream, Thrashers fries or saltwater taffy was one of her favorite past times. One of her most favorite things was to sit on the benches with her husband relaxing reflecting on life. Many memories were made at her trailer with her daughter in-laws and grandchildren. She had fun in the rain, golf cart rides, swimming in the pool and many games of Trouble and Yahtzee with the grandchildren. Many years at the trailer the family would all gather for park sponsored events like Christmas in July and early Halloween. She highly enjoyed everyone (all 15 of us) together in the small trailer creating chaos. The best way to Patti’s heart was all her family together, her peanut butter kandy kakes and diet pepsi.
Christmas was always something that Patti looked forward to so she could have her whole family together. She was always playing games with the kids and one of her favorite games to play was Christmas Bingo. She always wanted to keep the family tradition alive of a family gathering on Christmas Eve. After her mothers passing, with help from her children, the tradition was kept alive with new memories being made each year and will continue for many years to come in her memory.
One of Patti’s final request was in lieu of flowers, donations be made for her son Scott Presley to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation. www.pkdcure.org (In honor of Patti Presley, recipient Scott Presley. Email firstname.lastname@example.org) PKD Foundation PO Box 871847 Kansas City, MO. 61487
