Wilmington – James Milton Lloyd, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Ann’s Choice, Warminster, PA where he and June have lived for the past 9 Years.
He was born on May, 30, 1926 in Whiteford, MD and is the son of the late Owen and Della Lloyd. He attended Hartman School and Red Lion HS. After high school, Jim attended Goldey College for several courses.
James retired in 1991 from Hercules, Inc. after 38 years where he was an export specialist. While at Hercules and into retirement, he operated a valet parking service in the Greenville-Centerville, DE area.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Alfrieda Henry; brothers, Clarence, Gordon and Aldred Lloyd and his former wife, Ruth Keen Lloyd. Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Edith June (nee: Brown) Warner Lloyd; children, Donna Abbott, Dawn Singleton (Brian) and Douglas Lloyd; step-children, Donald Warner (Jayne) and Janice Warner Suessenguth (Chris); grandchildren, Lauren Abbott Sisselberger (Brian), Molly Abbott Hall (Kenny), Alison Zakreski, Nathan Zakreski, Ian Lloyd and Olivia Lloyd; step grandchildren, Michael Suessenguth (Lindsay), Kristin Suessenguth Mays (Walter), Jenna Warner Gruber (Justin) and John Warner (Amanda) and great grandchildren, Zachary and Colby Sisselberger, Ty Hall and Avery Zakreski, Kaylee and Ella Warner, Noah and Eli Gruber, Keira Mays and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Thursday, March, 5 at 11 am, Bethel Baptist Church, 1217 Wilson Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will be held privately.
