Cindy Anne (Uloth) Stucker, 60, died on February 20, 2020 in Hockessin Delaware from complications of advanced amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Cindy was born on December 23, 1959 in Arlington, Texas, daughter of Theresa Dougherty and Jerry Uloth. She moved to Delaware in her early youth, where she was raised by her Grandmother Grace Uloth and graduated from McKean high school. Cindy spent most of her life as a resident of Wilmington, Delaware and lived for a short while with her partner, Mike Pechura, in Willoughby Hills, Ohio.
Cindy loved animals, especially butterflies, and enjoyed walking her dogs, RV camping, and spending time with friends and family. A loving mother, she took great pleasure in traveling and was immensely proud of her son Jack. Cindy considered Jack’s wife Rachel a daughter and she loved to spend time with her granddaughter Paige. Cindy had a deep and loving connection with her sister Elaine Carter and treasured visiting Elaine and Elaine’s children and grandchildren in Florida. She shared a loving bond with her long-time friend Dave Snyder. An avid user of social media, Cindy relished reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Cindy was kind to all who knew her.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Theresa, father Jerry, Grandmother Grace, partner Mike Pechura and sister Elaine Carter. She is survived by her son, Jack Stucker, daughter-in-law Rachel Stucker, granddaughter Paige Stucker, and nieces Jennifer Perez and Elizabeth Carter.
Funeral services will be held at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington DE 19803 on Thursday February 27, 2020 at 11:00am, preceded by visitation beginning at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
