Jennifer Mosley Colon, 43, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on January 28, 2020 in Christiana Hospital, never recovering from a sudden and massive stroke days earlier.
Born in State College and graduated from Penn State, Jennifer was all about the “Blue and White.” The colors served her well, not only as a Penn State alumni but also as a member of Zeta Phi Beta sorority. She worked in social work and law enforcement fields her entire life, currently working as the SSVF Veterans Programs Manager at Community Action Agency of Delaware County. Jennifer loved everything Penn State. She loved her job. She loved the beach, and everything Harry Potter; and was an accomplished “plant whisperer.”
Jennifer’s greatest joy was being a mother. Her sweetest memories were spending vacations at the beach with her three children, who survive her; Jamier Mosley of Tarentum, PA, and Ariah and Breydon Colon of Wilmington, DE. Jennifer is also survived by her parents, Cherilynn Mosley of New Kensington, PA, and David Mosley and Anna Donna Naylor of Wilmington, DE; her grandmother, Pearl Bennett of New Kensington, PA; sisters, Amy Mosley of Ft. Meyers, FL; and Jamie Mosley of Arnold, PA; brother, Cheron Mosley of New Kensington, PA; step-sisters, Joy Thompson of Wilmington, DE; and Lindsay Naylor, of Upper Chichester, PA; nephews Sincere Mosley of Wilmington, DE; Savien Smith of New Kensington, PA; and Jace Mosley also of New Kensington; nieces Jordan Parham, Skyler Nepa, and Karissa Michalec all of Wilmington, DE. Jennifer leaves behind much extended family and many loved ones in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
