Cobberti, June E.

June Elizabeth Hunsicker Cobberti was born on 6/22/43 In Greene, NY and she Loved Jesus! She accepted Him at 16 years old “Under a tent in a thunder storm” along with her sister Jackie and the power of that prayer stuck!

Right out of High School she went to Pinecrest Bible Training Center where she met John Cobberti and they were married in 1973. Their son Mark was born in 1979. June was very proud of becoming Mark’s spiritual mom as well, when Mark was three years old.

June met her Savior face to face on 11/16/19 and she is predeceased by her parents, two siblings, two premie grandkids, and her ex-husband, John.

Mark is very much alive and so are seven of her siblings including: Bobby, Jackie, Linda, Danny, Kathy, Betty and Debbie. They are scattered all over the country, and we welcome the ones who have flown, driven and taken the train or bus to get here! What a wonderful surprise!

The things June loved were bargain shopping, rock collecting, quilting and crafting, helping her friend Sue as a craft vender, praying for people and learning new ways to make life easier (life hacks). She was also known for wearing her red “Jesus is My Boss” hat almost everywhere!

The celebration of her Loving Life will be held at Victory Christian Fellowship on 11/21/19. The viewing will be from 10-11 and the service will be at 11 AM. Refreshments will follow. The Burial will be private.

Using a paper called Five Wishes, we planned her funeral six years ago!

In lieu of flowers, June requested that we have people donate to Paralyzed Veterans of America PO Box 758589 Topeka, Ks. 66675 &/or The Gideon’s International PO Box 140800 Nashville, Tn. 37214.
