Elaine Weeks-Trueblood, 69, of Middletown, DE died on October 2, 2019 after a short illness.
Daughter of Woodrow and Grace Weeks, Elaine was born in Portland, Maine in 1949. She was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy Class of 67, Colby College, and earned her Masters Degree from Fairfield University. She was a longtime employee of JP Morgan Chase and Company and retired in May 2018 as Executive Director of Consumer and Community Banking Data Management.
Elaine was an avid golfer and loved her pets. Recently she took up the French horn. After retirement Elaine was passionate about teaching English as a second language at University of Delaware.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Rollyn C. Trueblood; stepson Lloyd (Melissa) Trueblood, stepdaughter Sheri Trueblood, brother Colin (Bonnie)Weeks, nephew William (Susan)Weeks, nephew Steve (Liz) Weeks, and niece Jennifer Weeks.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, October 9 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 15 E. Green Street, Middletown. Interment in St. Anne’s Cemetery will be held privately. The family suggests honoring the memory of Elaine Weeks-Trueblood by sending a memorial donation to Our Daily Bread Mission (an organization which provides nutritious meals to low-income families in the M.O.T. area), P.O.
