Kevins mission in life was to meet new people, make lifelong friends, bringing both new and old friends together. He enjoyed entertaining as his favorite was grilling by the pool with family and friends. Kevin always knew the hot spots to dine out, especially in Philly, and he enjoyed taking friends to them. Kevin had a diverse circle of friends. Friends from Philadelphia, Newark, Nashville, and Florida.
Kevin had a love for concerts especially Heart, Dolly Parton, Cher and many others. A true movie buff seeing a movie almost every month. He never missed a Simpsons episode as he could coin every phrase to them. He also loved star wars and wonder woman which is evident by the tattoo of her on his arm.
Kevin loved to travel and over the years has taken many trips. He just got back from a two- week trip to Switzerland, going to Germany, France, and Italy with his friend Natalie. He also enjoyed the family trip to Bethany Beach on the week of July 4th every year where he would invite a few friends down to relax, drink wine, and to do another thing he loved, reading books.
He was a true family man. He spent time taking care of both his mother and his father. He loved his chihuahua, Martini Mae. He loved to cook for the family trying new recipes. Made homemade bread for Dad. Inviting people to dinner. He had a love for flowers and gardening. He was a wine enthusiast. He enjoyed taking his nephew to favorite spots and teaching all about wine. He loved Amazon Prime. Ordering everything from gardening items to his favorite, sour patch kids!!
Looking at the words from friends on his posts we consistently see, Genuine, Kind, Funny, positive attitude, brings love and joy to all. But we already knew that. Kevin worked at the Bank of America in several departments making friends along the way. He enjoyed his co-workers and was looking forward to starting a new position within the organization.
Kelly and I would like to thank everyone for the kind words of comfort during this time. Thanks to Christiana Hospital staff on 2B and especially 2D. He got nothing but excellent care during his stay.
