Rev. Dr. Willard L. Robinson Jr., age 95, went home to be with the Lord May 5, 2019. He was born August 23, 1923 to Willard L. Robinson Sr. and Laura Haas Robinson. He was loving husband to Eleanor Robinson of 68 years who preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Earl Robinson and wife Gayle, daughter Julia Brokhoff and husband Chuck, brother Fred Robinson, sisters Becky Gicker and Eleanor Loveland, as well as four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Willard was a Sergeant in the United States Army and was stationed in Japan after World War II. He then went on to receive a Bachelors degree from Washington College, a Masters degree from Temple University, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Drew University. He served eight churches during his ministry in the Peninsula Delaware Conference of the United Methodist Church and was well loved by the people he served. He also served on the board of directors at Camp Pecometh in Centreville, MD expanding the program and facilities.
He enjoyed writing, drawing, sailing, woodworking, and traveling. He and Eleanor traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, Germany, and The Middle East.
Willard loved sharing with others and always led by example saying “it’s not about what you say, but how you live your life that’s most important.

Funeral services and interment were held privately on May 11, 2019.
