She had a book on her end table when she passed. Rose also loved her game shows and took breaks from reading to enjoy her favorite game shows.
Rose was a strong-willed woman to the end. Until a couple of years ago every Friday she walked to the bus stop and traveled to J.C. She refused help and always insisted she could do it on her own.

At Christmas and Easter everyone waited for her to arrive with her bag full of pizzelle cookies that she passed out to all. She made everyones favorite vanilla and anisette.
Everyone knew just how she liked her coffee after her meal. She enjoyed going on vacation with her children and grandchildren, visiting Williamsburg, VA, Disney, traveling to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for a family vacation and to White House Beach in Rehoboth.
Rose knitted an afghan for each one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You always knew how special you were on your birthday because she underlined the words in the card to emphasize just how much you were appreciated. Sometimes underlining a special word two or three times.
